We have gone live!

We are now live on trying to raise funds for our campaign to bring an indoor play center to Chapel Hill this year! My wife and I just had a baby late last year and she is part of a "mommy" groups in the area. One of their biggest complaints is not enough places that are baby friendly in the Chapel Hill area that they can feel comfortable taking their kids/babies to. I know of a place in Durham where they frequent called Stay in Play cafe in downtown Durham, and many of the mommies do not like the commute. They also raised funds through Kickstarter.com. My wife challenged me to create a place like this in Chapel Hill, we will raise funds through another crowdfunding source of Indiegogo.com (very similar to Kickstarter.com). I am reaching out to all my contacts to help me reach this funds. Please review our submission at http://igg.me/at/kidsplaycafe/x/2613560. Let me know if there is anything that can be done just help me get the word out. Thank you Wilton Brown

New Concept Hopefully Coming!

Hello everyone! My name is Wilton. My wife Kristine and I are planning on opening up a space for kids of all ages to come and play! Kids Play Cafe will serve an area of the Triangle that is under served for this type of place. We are mainly looking in Chapel Hill. We want to bring additional places to triangle were Parents can bring their children and babies to. With the simple goal of making the lives of families with your children better and easier. We will design it to accommodate a parents' needs of providing for their children a safe indoor activity center where they can relish the cheerfulness of their children as they play, create and develop the skills of making new friends while playing in this environment. We will try and have features that would include: an indoor bounce house, several play structures, toys, indoor safety flooring, changing rooms, and a chalkboard wall to start with. Also we will introduce a cafe with coffee, tea, snacks, and assorted food items for the adults and kids. Once we start growing we will have even seasonal play items, a reading nook, special monthly events for adults and kids. We will also connect with others in the community who will fulfill music, art, and enrichment classes. And just for the parents we will have Free password protected WiFi and table/chairs for the parents to work on their laptops. This can be an option for those who run a business or work from home and this would be beneficial for those who just want to get out of the house to work and let their kids play! This would avoid going to coffee houses and disturbing others who do not have kids. We want to be a top choice for parents and children in the community. We would love to bring this concept to the area. Help us get this going and have a place for your kids to come and play! Wilton, Kristine and Kenly!
